Any work complementing that of the excellent greenkeeping staff, must be carried out with a sensitivity to the surroundings, and to the highest standards. We were asked to undertake Vredo overseeding of all greens, approaches and a number of pathways.
An important factor in planning any works at a busy golf club is to ensure that disruption to members is kept to an absolute minimum and, where possible, that there is no interruption to play. As it was the height of summer, it was decided to carry out the works over two days: by starting at 6am on both days we ensured that we were a number of holes ahead of play; by day two we were 9 holes ahead of the first player teeing off.
Our machinery also ensures that we can work around play: our New Holland tractor, fitted with galaxy turf tyres, ensures no tyre marks on precious greens.
Vredo overseeding – The Vredo 214 Disc Seeder guarantees a 96% germination rate, and with a double pass of pure Fescue mix, the increase of seed quantity ensured additional plant density and new growth

“We are thoroughly happy with the work Miles undertook for us. This is the first time we have used 360 Groundcare, but we will happily carry on using their services and highly recommend them!”
Aberdovey Golf Club is without doubt a living testament to the unique characteristics of links golf. Dunes frame the holes and the course’s rugged, natural feel has been enhanced in recent years by the re-introduction of rough-edged bunkering. Regarded by Golf Monthly Magazine as one of the Top Ten Courses in Wales, “Memorable holes include the blind par-3 3rd to a punchbowl green and the par-3 12th to a plateau green perched above the dunes and beach. The club boasts that this hole is one of the hardest par 3s in British golf.”
