Badgers are an enduring symbol of the British countryside and one of the UK’s most recognised and cherished mammals.

We have been designing and building badger setts since 2013, when we were first commissioned by Natural Resources Wales (NRW) to create a sett in Rhuddlan, Wales, providing badgers with a permanent home and a safe place for badger families to return to each year.

Wildflower meadows create a rich, diverse habitat while adding beauty to gardens, unused land and roadside verges. 

Their wide mix of plants attracts a variety of pollinators such as butterflies, bees, flies, birds and mammals that play a vital role in pollinating local fruit and vegetables. These beneficial species also help control crop pests, reducing the need for heavy pesticide use, while the changing flowers bring colour and interest to the landscape throughout the seasons.
