Miles brings 13 years’ experience in delivering high quality ground works and specialised sports turf maintenance, renovation and management.
Respected and well known within the industry, Miles works closely with all of 360 Groundcare’s clients, ensuring they understand each step that will be taken during their works, the reasons for the steps and the benefits they will provide to not only the client but the end users.
In accordance with our BSI certified Integrated Management System, accredited to ISO9001:2015, incorporating NHSS18 and OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health & Safety Management System, Miles is the company’s nominated Occupational Health and Safety Manager and ensures that each project has undertaken the proper risk assessments, mitigation and control, ensuring all contracts are completed safely and to standard.
Miles is always looking for innovation in practices and is passionate about promoting sustainable, organic and low environmental impact management; finding the most cost-effective solutions.
Within 360 Groundcare Limited Miles is responsible for:
- Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety management
- Application of fertiliser and wetting agents
- Scarification to reduce thatch from the new turf
- Operation of the Air2G2 equipment
- Operation of the Flailbot
- All ground works
- Operation and safety checks of all plant, tools and equipment, ensuring all are used in accordance with manufacturer guidelines across the company
- Project scheduling and programming
- Supervision of all staff
- Client liaison and providing project transparency allowing the client to have oversight throughout the lifetime of the contract
- Adhering to and operating under company policies and legislation that form the ISO integrated management system, as well as reviewing the system annually to ensure all documents and policies are up-to-date and in line with industry guidelines and best practice
- Ensuring all site risk assessments are completed, adhered to and all risk mitigation has been implemented
- All works are completed within agreed timeframes
- All sites are left tidy with the removal of any waste
