Golf courses is where it all began for us! We are all highly experienced green keepers and, since forming 360 Ground Care, we have been privileged to work for a great number of leading golf clubs in England and all the top clubs in Wales.
We thoroughly understand the requirements of a prestigious golf course, and recommend and deliver the right solution, whatever challenges the course might present.
Our fleet of specialised ground care equipment and our expertise are welcomed by our clients, either for extra support at busy times of the year, or for specific maintenance works that require equipment that is uneconomical for the golf club to own.
Our services for greens, tees and fairways include:
- Aeration, including verti drain aeration air2 shockwave
- Scarification quadraplay
- Top dressing
- Hollow coring/hollow tining recycle dresser
- Nutrient application
- Overseeding
- Mowing and rolling
- Ensuring good drainage even in persistently heavy rain
We also undertake vegetation clearance of invasive species from dunes and selected areas of the course, as well as applying products such as Acelepryn to Greens to suppress leatherjacket infestation and subsequent damage to turf health.
When it comes to seeding, we will analyse the soil to determine the most suitable seed or blend (own blends) of seed. Ian holds a master’s degree in soil science and is an expert in this field.
We have recently started applying Tee-2-Green’s Pure Distinction seed, which has been designed for greens with high salt exposure. This was the first time this seed has been applied in the UK by a contractor. We are monitoring germination and establishment over the coming weeks but are quietly excited about the potential this seed offers for coastal golf courses.
We also offer a programme of ongoing golf course maintenance where required.
